KISSA‐2D (current version 1.2) [3] is designed for simulating two‐dimensional problems at disk or band microelectrodes. It allows the simulation of electrochemical reaction mechanisms of any complexity involving:

• heterogeneous electron transfers
• homogeneous chemical reactions (1st, 2nd or higher order)
• reactions leading to electrochemiluminescence (ECL)
